The James Montgomery Flagg poster illustration of Uncle Sam is a part of American iconography. Any artist would want an original “I WANT YOU” poster for their collection, so I decided to paint a version for myself basically using only two colors. There is also a very subtle background of Naval imagery from a 1950s Life magazine.
