BPL South End

// mural design

I was lucky enough to have the City of Boston ask me to design another mural wall for the South End Boston Public Library Branch. They wanted a graphic to fill the wall in the entryway off of the children’s story hour area.  I began with doing extensive research on the South End neighborhood. Having a design that has recognizable landmarks and community behaviors was essential for it to feel authentic. At the bottom center there is a same sex marriage reflecting the large gay population in the South End of Boston, along with the vibrant art culture and culinary scene.
