5th Ave Fashion

// oil painting

After watching the final season of Mad Men, I began to reflect on the styles of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The show was extremely accurate in portraying every design aspect of architecture, automobile design and of course fashion. This inspired me to research the height of fashion in New York City. I haven’t painted anything that was quintessentially American until now. I loosely call this my first period piece, “5th Ave Fashion.”
